Fred Yentz
CEO and President · TartabitFred Yentz is a veteran technology executive with deep expertise in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrie 4.0. He has led the creation and global commercialization of Industrial IoT software platforms and cloud-based services for customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Formerly President of IoT Platforms at Telit and CEO of ILS Technology, Fred has built and scaled global go-to-market organizations, launched successful IoT product portfolios, and developed extensive partner ecosystems across telecom, industrial automation, and cloud technologies. His earlier roles at Radisys and IBM further shaped his experience in engineering, product development, and business operations, and he is credited as an inventor on two U.S. patents. Fred is recognized for his ability to assess technology roadmaps, strengthen partner and channel strategies, and guide executives through platform modernization, make-versus-buy decisions, and M&A considerations. He has served on industry boards including the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the National Science and Technology Education Program (NSTEP), and as Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board for the College of Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and an MBA and M.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami.
